IvanHrkaš

was born in Sarajevo in 1978. After finishing elementary school, he moves to Israel. Although he was accepted to the prestigious Becalel Academy of Fine Arts in Jerusalem, in 1998 he returned to Sarajevo and entered the Academy of Fine Arts, majoring in graphic design.

He graduated in 2004, and in 2011 he received his master’s degree in photography.

He is a full time professor of Photography (Fundamentals of Photography I and II and Photography I and II). For the last 12 years, he has been engaged in sociological photography (intimacy and spaces of collective memories).

He exhibited in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Austria, Montenegro, Tunisia, Slovenia, Serbia,

Great Britain, Croatia, Israel, China, Mexico, USA, and won awards at numerous festivals.
