This year, we are proud to present a jury panel that brings together international photography industry leaders, visionary art directors, renowned curators, and influential voices shaping the global photography and visual landscape.

Simone Azzoni
Art critic; Professor of Contemporary Art History; Curator
Simone Azzoni is an art critic and professor of Contemporary Art History at IUSVE Pontifical University. Since 2023, he has also taught Aesthetics of Visual Arts at the Santa Giulia Academy of Fine Arts in Brescia, as well as Critical Reading of Images and History of Art at the Palladio Institute of Design in Verona.
He has curated numerous exhibitions in Italy and abroad and works as a theatre critic and author of performance texts staged internationally. Since 2012, he has been co-artistic director of Teatro Arte Verona and is the artistic director of the multidisciplinary space Il Meccanico. His recent publications include Frame – Videoarte and Surroundings, The Hen’s Gaze, Wim Wenders: 1964–1984, and Vida Detenida.

Marko Drobnjaković
Documentary photographer
Marko Drobnjaković is a freelance documentary photographer based in Belgrade, Serbia. He holds a BSc and MSc in Engineering from the University of Belgrade. His work focuses on post-conflict societies, including the Iraq conflict, the escalation of violence in Ukraine, the rise and fall of ISIS in northern Iraq, the European refugee crisis, and the aftermath of the Yugoslav wars.
He has worked on assignments for The Associated Press, NBC, MSF, International Rescue Committee, Human Rights Watch, Der Spiegel, El País, The Guardian, and The New Yorker. His awards and grants include the Magnum Foundation Grant, Pulitzer Prize finalist for Breaking News Photography, Yunghi Kim Grant, Aftermath Project Grant finalist, Ochberg Fellowship, Logan Nonfiction Fellowship, and Alfred Toepfer Fellowship.

Teresa Freitas
Photographer; Artistic and Programme Director of Lisbon Street Photo Fest
She is a Portuguese photographer and colourist whose work moves between fine art, documentary, and street photography. Her practice explores how colour shapes composition, atmosphere, place, and the viewer’s aesthetic response.
After several years working in commercial photography—with collaborations including Leica, Netflix, Adobe, Pantone, and Dior—she is now focused on short- and long-term documentary projects. Her current work examines cultural and symbolic relationships with nature, particularly through flowers. She is also a member of FUTURES Photography, a European platform for emerging photographic talents.

Šejla Kamerić
Visual artist
She is a visual artist from Bosnia and Herzegovina whose practice spans photography, installation, film, and site-specific projects. Her work addresses socio-political themes, the politics of memory, resistance, and women’s lived experiences, articulated through a direct and empathetic visual language.
Her work has been presented at major international exhibitions and biennials and is included in prominent public and private collections, including Tate Modern, MACBA Barcelona, MMCA Seoul, Museum of Contemporary Art Zagreb, and Fotografiska. Her recent solo exhibition EX YOU is touring Fotografiska venues in Berlin, Stockholm, and Tallinn.

Timotej Letonja
Founder & Editor-in-Chief of Numéro Netherlands; Founder of Haze Media
He is the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Numéro Netherlands and Numéro Homme Netherlands, as well as the Founder of Haze Media, a multidisciplinary creative agency and publishing house. Through his editorial vision, he has positioned Numéro Netherlands as a forward-thinking voice in fashion, culture, and art.
With a background in entrepreneurship, Timotej combines business acumen with a passion for fashion, beauty, music, and travel. Based in Amsterdam, his work reflects a global outlook and a contemporary approach to storytelling that bridges creative industries and cultures.

Coline Plançon
Independent curator and producer; General Coordinator at PhotoSaintGermain; Co-founder of Collectif Vives!
She began her career in 2015 at Magnum Photos, working in London and Paris on exhibitions, books, and workshops. Her contributions include the travelling exhibition Home (with Fujifilm) and the publications Magnum Photobook and Magnum in China (Phaidon).
She later served as Head of Cultural Projects at MYOP agency, where she conceived the book Ukraine, Fragments (ABM and Manuella Editions), finalist for the Nadar Prize, followed by the eponymous exhibition at La Gaîté Lyrique and Les Champs Libres in Rennes. Her work is rooted in an engaged, political, and contemporary approach to photography. She holds a Master’s degree in audiovisual archives preservation.

Fernanda Prado Verčič
Founding Director of Kranj Foto Fest; Artistic Director of OKO Photo Festival Bohinj
She is the Founding Director of Kranj Foto Fest. Originally from São Paulo, Brazil, she has been based in Slovenia since 2011. She is actively engaged as a jury member, portfolio reviewer, and nominator for major photography festivals and institutions.
Driven by a strong interest in discovering new work, she supports photographers who push the boundaries of the medium and explore innovative approaches to visual storytelling. Her work is guided by a commitment to creating opportunities for photographers and fostering vibrant photography communities connecting artists, critics, and audiences.

Ionuț Trandafirescu
Cultural manager; Founder and Artistic Director of Bucharest Photofest
He is a cultural manager, producer, curator, editor, and festival director working internationally between Bucharest and Reykjavik. For over 15 years, he has built and led independent cultural platforms at the intersection of photography, visual culture, music, film, publishing, and socially engaged practice.
He is the Founder and Artistic Director of Bucharest Photofest, co-founder of the Photographer of the Year in Romania Awards, and Director and Editor-in-Chief of Filos Publishing. His work is grounded in extensive international experience gained through sustained mobility across more than 65 countries.
