Welcome to No Pressure Portfolio Review!
No Pressure Portfolio Review is not a traditional portfolio review. Instead of a format built around evaluation and “right answers,” it creates space for honest conversations about the real conditions of being a photographer today – uncertainty, production, visibility, pressure, and the questions that often remain outside the frame itself.
Through conversations with mentors and fellow participants, the focus is not on presenting a perfect portfolio, but on exploring the processes, doubts, and experiences behind the work. Each portfolio review table is centered around a specific theme reflecting the realities of contemporary photographic practice: sustainability and precarity, power and representation, access and gatekeeping, as well as creative blocks, vulnerability, and self-doubt.
Your portfolio reviewers are:
Ilaria Sponda – Managing Editor at Der Greif and independent writer and curator
William Keo and Yegan Mazandarani – Four Eyes Editions
Fernanda Prado Verčič – Director of Kranj Foto Fest
Pierre Mohamed-Petit – Visual Artist and Digital Production Manager at Magnum Photos
Marko Drobnjaković – Photojournalist
No Pressure Portfolio Review emerges from the need to speak more openly, slowly, and honestly about photography — not only as an image, but as labor, experience, and a way of understanding the world.
