We would like to inform you that the submission process for the Sarajevo photography Festival competition has officially come to a close. We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated and shared their visual stories with us.

The response to this competition has been overwhelming, with 450 submissions from 42 countries, showcasing your immense talent and creativity. We are thrilled to witness such passion for the art of photography.

Now that the submission phase has concluded, we are excited to announce that our esteemed panel of judges is currently working on the meticulous task of evaluating each entry. Their expertise will ensure a fair and comprehensive selection process.

The judges will closely examine every submission, assessing various elements such as composition, technical proficiency, creativity, and the ability to convey a powerful narrative. It is a challenging responsibility, as the competition boasts an array of remarkable submissions that truly captivate the imagination.

 

We understand the eagerness to know the results, but please bear with us as the judging process takes place.

Each entry will receive the attention and consideration it deserves. Rest assured, we aim to announce the finalists on the 4th of June, and the winners will be known at the opening ceremony of Sarajevo Photography Festival, and an exhibition on the 23rd of June 2023 at the Sarajevo City Hall (Vijećnica).
