More Than a Ride: How Audi Became Part of the Sarajevo Photography Festival Story

Behind every successful festival lies a network of people, ideas, and partnerships that quietly keep everything moving. At the Sarajevo Photography Festival, we have always believed that the strongest collaborations are those that become part of the experience itself. Our partnership with Audi is exactly that.

During the Festival, the fully electric Audi Q8 e-tron became more than official festival transport. It became a companion to the photographers, artists, mentors, guests and organising team as they travelled between the Festival’s seven locations across Sarajevo—connecting exhibitions, portfolio reviews, artist talks and countless moments in between.

There is something beautifully symbolic about a festival dedicated to seeing the world through a different lens being powered by a vehicle that represents the future of mobility. Quiet, elegant and effortlessly capable, the Audi Q8 e-tron moved through the city with the same confidence and precision that define both outstanding engineering and great visual storytelling.

Some of our favourite behind-the-scenes moments happened not on stage, but on the road. Watching photographers step out the car with cameras over their shoulders, heading towards another exhibition opening or creative conversation, reminded us that festivals are built just as much in transit as they are inside galleries. Between destinations, ideas are exchanged, collaborations begin, and stories continue to unfold.
