Artist Talk: POV with Mislav Mironović at Olympic Museum Sarajevo
Location: Olympic Museum Sarajevo
Date: 5 June 12:00 – 13:00
Mislav Mironović’s artist talk “POV” brings a personal story about the unpredictable paths that lead to success. Through his transition from the world of extreme sports into the creative industry, Mironović reflects on shifts in perspective, risk-taking, and the decisions that shape a career. His experience connects two seemingly distant disciplines, revealing how passion, discipline, and an authentic point of view can open entirely new professional directions.

Mironović began his career as an extreme cyclist in the MTB freeride discipline, riding for international brands such as Red Bull, Norco Bikes, Nokia, and GoPro. During this period, he developed a strong visual sensibility through working with cameras, photography, and documenting movement — elements that later became the foundation of his creative expression.
After concluding his sports career in 2014, he moved to New York and later to Los Angeles, where he worked on creative projects for Red Bull while further developing his expertise in video production and visual storytelling. Upon returning to Zagreb in 2018, he founded MM Studio, a creative studio focused on creative direction, video production, photography, and stop-motion animation. Across all of these mediums, the influence of his sports background remains visible through rhythm, movement, energy, and dynamic visual composition.
Today, Mislav Mironović is recognized as one of the leading creatives on the regional scene, approaching the creative industry as one large playground — a space for exploration, experimentation, and constantly pushing the boundaries between discipline and play.
