The finalists of 2024 Sarajevo Photography Festival competition

The moment we’ve all been eagerly awaiting has arrived!

This year’s festival drew 683 submissions from 638 unique talents, totaling an impressive 3,705 photos from 58 countries!

What an incredible showcase!

We can’t wait to reveal the winners at our grand opening ceremony in the large concert hall at BKC (Bosnian Cultural Center) on 31st of May at 19:00h.

Right after we announce the winners, we’ll kick off an exhibition of the winning entries in the gallery. All of the finalists will have their work exhibited here.

Grand Prix winner will receive a cash prize of 2.000 EUR, and all the first prize winners will be awarded by our partner Canon, and the the official festival statuette. All the finalists will be exhibited in BKC Gallery, and later on, the exhibition will travel to other galleries and cities. Additionally, all of these photographers will be showcased in a printed book edition of Sarajevo Photography Festival.

Judging thousands of exceptional entries was definitely no small feat:

– Luca Venturi (LANDSCAPE): Artistic visionary behind the Siena International Photo Awards.
– Lars Lindemann (LIFE): Hamburg portfolio review director.
– Petar Trbović (FASHION): Fashion Director at Vogue Adria.
– David Pujado (MOBILE): Director of Belgrade Photo Month.
– Selma Selman (CONCEPTUAL): Celebrated artist and community activist.
– Natali Grace Levine (WEDDING): Editor at Wezoree.
– Hana Knizova (PORTRAIT): Portrait and fashion photographer.
